KARRYAK® Full Overview
The outstanding feature of KARRYAK® is that it is modular for ease of carrying and transporting. Made in 5 sections, each one a monocoque, KARRYAK® sea kayaks are designed to function as one piece sea kayaks on the water, but when on land can be taken apart in up to 5 sections.
Once assembled, KARRYAK® is a high-performance, one-piece sea kayak and touring kayak, with many new and innovative features that set it apart from every other sea kayak on the market. Additionally, our pioneering use of pre-impregnated carbon fibre and our unique modular monocoque design make KARRYAK® a true innovation in sea kayak construction.
There are 3 Patents granted on KARRYAK® ; the joint mechanism that holds the 5 sections together, the foot-operated rudder & skeg mechanism and the profiled hatch lids with O-ring seals and retainers.
Every element of a sea kayak has been scrutinised, designed, improved, re-designed, or simply eliminated.

Hatches
- Sweetie hatch in front of cockpit, day hatch offset behind cockpit.
- Large rear and front hatches, plus bow and tail hatches
- Hatch lids flush to the deck, cannot implode or be blown off
- Hatch lids are tethered and float in fresh & salt water
Deck Fittings
- Deck fittings designed & built for carrying
- Low internal profile deck fittings, flush to deck, for safety tapes and elastics
- Deck tapes from soft 25mm polyester, comfortable to hold
Sealing The Parts
